The Energy Policy and Development Centre (KEPA) of the University of Athens presents the new volume of “Energy View of BSEC countries - 2015 Special Edition on Climate Change Policy Trends” under the auspices of the BSEC.

The Energy Policy and Development Centre (KEPA) of the University of Athens presents on Thursday 25th February 2016 the new volume of “Energy View of BSEC countries - 2015 Special Edition on Climate Change Policy Trends” under the auspices of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation organization (BSEC).

The speakers of the presentation will be Ambassador Michael Christides – Secretary General of the Permanent International Secretariat of BSEC (BSEC-PERMIS), Mr. Roman Matkiwsky – Head of Energy and Investment at the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) and Professor Dimitrios Mavrakis – Director of KEPA and Coordinator of PROMITHEASnet. 

The book presents the overall policy trends on Climate Change in the twelve BSEC countries and contains the respective Action Plans on Climate Change (INDC), as they were submitted to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

The event will be chaired by Professor Mavrakis and Ambassador Christides, while the Rector of the University of Athens and the Deputy Foreign Minister Mr. Mardas are invited to address welcome speeches. 

The event will take place at the KEPA premises inside the university campus, on Thursday 26th February 2016, at 11 am. The registrations start at 10.30.
